Do you feel disappointed when looking in the mirror? Do you see a reflection you no longer recognize?
Scrutinizing your face, you see fine lines and wrinkles on your forehead that you never noticed before. You might also note that your skin tone and texture has significantly changed. This frustration is further compounded when your colleagues casually comment that you look tired and ask if you are feeling okay. The mirror and your officemates seem to both be noticing the same thing. It's time for a new skincare regime. Do something about it!
There is a solution for fine lines and wrinkles in Georgetown, Texas and it’s the minimally invasive skincare and an antiaging solution called RF + Microneedling treatments!
Microneedling has been combined successfully with RF or radiofrequency to provide satisfying results in skin tightening, treatment of stretch marks, scars, and just about any skin surface problems that make you look older than your biological age. RF has been used for years in aesthetic procedures to stimulate collagen regeneration and add volume to the skin. When both Microneedling and radiofrequency are used together, they act synergistically to produce significantly enhanced results. For several years, RF has been safely used in aesthetics to stimulate collagen regeneration deeper in the skin than microneedling can allow. This can effectively add more volume to the skin.
How does it work?
A numbing cream is used on your face so that it will be endurable for you during the procedure. Microneedling uses small needles to prick the skin so you can generate new skin tissue and collagen for firmer and toned skin. As the needles hit your skin, short bursts of RF energy are discharged, causing a deep down thermal effect that stimulates collagen growth and helps rejuvenate skin.
What’s the difference between microneedling and microneedling with RF?
Microneedling is a procedure that uses extremely fine sterile needles that penetrate the skin, causing micro-wounds that stimulate wound healing. As the wound heals, collagen and elastin are synthesized, leading to improved skin texture, tightness, and softer appearance even in acne scars. Microneedling RF blend microneedling with radiofrequency heat energy to boost collagen and elastin production. Microneedles are inserted into the skin, and heat is produced between the needles to achieve this. Both treatments require a series of treatments for best results and can be safely used on multiple skin types and tones.
How does it feel?
You will feel heat and some pressure. The treatment is tolerable, and your technician will work with you to maximize your comfort level. Compared with CO2 lasers, many find this treatment more comfortable.
What should I expect?
Healing depends on your skin recovery properties. There is an initial redness and swelling, which substantially subsides after 24-36 hours. It can take up to a week for this to completely resolve. Most people resume normal activities within 48 hours.
You can see the inspiring results of RF + Microneedling immediately after the treatment wherein there will be improved visual results in your skin tightening and pore reduction. Final healing results can be expected in about four to six weeks after this antiaging treatment.
How long does it last?
Unlike many other procedures, this has long-lasting results since it is your body that is at work. The effects could last for years.
How long will all this take?
Depending upon the treatment area, it can take as little as 15 minutes and up to an hour. Your technician will discuss your goals, which will determine the length and number of treatments you will need. Many see results after just one treatment.
RF + Microneedling is minimally invasive and allows you to avoid going under the knife while still getting incredible results! Give your coworkers and friends something to talk about!
